There are two methods to remove version from URL
Step-1: By Using Database SQL Query, need to insert in core_config_data
insert into core_config_data (config_id, scope, scope_id, path, value) values (null, 'default', 0, 'dev/static/sign', 0);Step-2: By Using Magento 2 Admin
- Login to admin panel
- Go to Stores > Configuration
- Under Advanced, select Developer
- Expand Static Files Settings
- Set “No” to Sign Static Files
